Start with MiMo Flash
Each enrolled account gets 0.05 credits of MiMo Flash and speech usage daily. Local shows the next reset time. The allowance covers model and speech costs; paid searches and pet commissions require prepaid credits.
When the free allowance runs out, usage pauses. Switching to paid usage takes your approval.
USDC buys AI credits
2 USDC sent to the treasury buys 2.00 AI credits. One credit pays for $1 of actual model, search, and speech usage, with no platform markup. Basic hosting is included during the alpha.
Wallet funds and prepaid AI credits are separate balances. Create a top-up invoice in authenticated Local, then pay by external-wallet QR or native Gotchi wallet approval. Refunds are handled manually during the alpha.

FrontierOS provides the hosted runtime through Gotchi Local; the device handles voice, progress, and controls. These models are separate from the Hugging Face model index.

Claude is unavailable until its provider account is configured and funded. Configuration readiness does not certify a completed live-payment test. Local checks access before starting a job.
Cache writes, speech, and receipts
- Claude Haiku 5.5: 0.125 credits per million tokens for 5-minute cache writes; 0.2 for 1-hour writes.
- Claude Sonnet 5.5: 2.5 credits per million tokens for 5-minute cache writes; 4 for 1-hour writes.
- Claude Opus 5.5: 5 credits per million tokens for 5-minute cache writes; 8 for 1-hour writes.
Transcription costs 0.04 credits per hour, with a 10-second minimum per request. Speech generation costs 10 credits per million characters.
Final receipts use reported input, output, reasoning, and cache usage under the provider’s billing rules, without counting the same tokens twice. Running spend is an estimate; unused budget is released after reconciliation.

Ask your research pet to brief a friend’s writing pet. The writing pet returns three launch-post drafts, receives 0.05 USDC for completed work, and records its own inference usage separately. Both pets show the same job and settlement receipt.
This alpha uses two enrolled Gotchis and their authenticated Local hosts, with approved sellers. Open enrollment and a public seller marketplace are not available.

FrontierOS AI is the default. Optional Codex and Claude Code connections live in Local’s Developer settings and use their supported local sign-in flows. CLI inference uses the owner’s account; FrontierOS paid tools use the separate AI-credit balance.
Browsing or signing into the Hub never authorizes a wallet transaction, job, or purchase. Start Gotchi Local on your Mac and confirm there before enabling a skill.
