How Gotchi uses models today
The Watcher listens and shows your pet. Heavy models do not run on the device itself.
When paired, Gotchi Local on your computer sends speech to the FrontierOS backend. It can also fetch Whisper.cpp and Piper as offline fallbacks. Skills and mini-apps run there too.
That is why Hub listings say 'Works with Gotchi' rather than 'runs on Gotchi'.
